The main objective of this book is to open a new frontier in scientific research as well as cause a serious rethink in regards to the content of religious texts. So far, science considered religion as part of the folklore and culture, but without anything that would objectively contribute to the scientific understanding of the universe and its laws. However, a part of the first chapter is dedicated to the new scientific theory named “The Geometric Concept of Matter”, which does prove the following religious dogmas: “God is the source of all,” “God is omnipresent,” “God is omnipotent” and “God is eternal” (i.e. outside of the space and time).
The first chapter aims at something else as well—to prove that we all believe in the same all-powerful, omnipresent, omniscient and eternal Being, the one and the only Spirit (God)—even though we call It different names. This Spirit, or Eternal Consciousness, is the only entity that exists; everything else is It in disguise, a certain modulation of this single medium.
Chapter two continues this line of thought and describes how this single medium (i.e. consciousness) transforms, through the help of the primordial Aum sound vibration (the Word), into space, time and individual particles of dark matter (i.e., the Atoms), which are essentially rotating balls of consciousness. Note that capitalized word “Atom” refers to the first particle in creation (i.e. a dark matter particle), which should be differentiated from the lowercase “atom”, which refers to what is known in physics as a basic unit of visible matter. Dark matter particles group into variously sized collections which are the origins of the observable galaxies, star systems, planets etc.
The other component of the cosmic vibration is light, which shines on the dark matter and causes it to polarize and awake into the individual existence or life (i.e., the whirling consciousness inside the Atoms becomes organized and self-aware). Those three: Spirit (God the Father, the Eternal Consciousness), God the Son (that manifests in and through the light) and the Word (Aum sound vibration) are the Holy Trinity mentioned in various religious texts.
Chapter three describes what happens as the result of the dark matter polarization—the other two modes of creation are formed: the dark energy and gross (physical) matter. At the macroscopic level, unions of such polarized dark matter particles create the inanimate and animate kingdoms, while individualized particles create man. In essence, there is no fundamental difference between matter and Spirit; God the Spirit transformed Itself into matter by the virtue of creative vibration.
Chapter four explores further the process of creation of various modes of life and introduces the law of karma and reincarnation. It also explains why man’s body (microcosm) is similar to the macrocosm.
Chapter five then describes how God took six creation cycles to work out, fine tune and finalize the structure of the creation after which He let His agencies to run the show according to His design and laws.
In the final, sixth, chapter a discussion is raised about our source in God and what does it mean to be His offspring. Man’s struggle to regain his innate divinity is described as a holy war that is waged on the field of his own body, mind and soul. A stairway of consciousness is introduced to illustrate how man’s consciousness moves through various stages in its climb towards God, until the final union is achieved and man, now Son of God, could proclaim: “I and my Father are one.” (John 10:30). The normal distribution function is used to depict the distribution of consciousness within communities, countries and civilisations. Some practical points are given in regards to the help that man needs, and could obtain on his evolutionary path, and some tools are mentioned that could speed up that process.

“Whence do we come? Examines the great fundamental questions of life, drawing on the teachings of contemporary self-realised Masters. Toni Kovac rather than adding his own interpretations, instead draws to our attention a complex and rich tapestry of religious science and metaphysical thinking, showing how the different ideas interweave with the diverse religions and with our own burning desire to know the answer to the question “Whence do we come?” . For the reader who enjoys detailed information and a depth of thought which demands our full attention, this book is excellent for inspiring us to begin searching within ourselves, through the practise of meditation and deep introspective thought, for the nature of Reality.”
